This is the major landmark of Mumbai which was built in 20th Century; it was done so to celebrate the visit of King George and Queen Mary to Mumbai. Gateway looks over Mumbai’s harbor which is on the border of Arabian Sea in the Colaba district. It was more than a year since I had gone out for actual photography. The projects kept flowing and my craving for freelance wildlife photo collection was increasing. My patience was at its brim when my job for saving the animals at the zoo was hugely appreciated and brought me some time to carry on with my collection. I contacted my old friends and learned that they were all planning for a trip to New Delhi and would camp to Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary. I was amazed by the idea and signed myself in. they were also happy to have me since I understood the forest better than any of them. I informed my company about this and promised them to get some exclusive photos of the animals. To my luck, they sanctioned my holiday for this trip.

Booking the train ticket from Mumbai to New Delhi
As soon as I was informed about my holiday being confirmed I started looking for a ticket to travel home. I completed all the paper works left in hand and decided to go online and book a ticket to make a trip from Mumbai to New Delhi. Due to lack of availability of flight seats at the last moment, I immediately shifted to search a train ticket. I was looking through various Mumbai to New Delhi trains. I did check for a seat in Mumbai to New Delhi Rajdhani but found no available seat there. The next train in my search list was the Dehradun Express. Even though I was booking only fifteen days before my date of the journey I was very lucky to find a seat there. The AC 2-tier ticket did cost reasonable and lesser than the average airfare. With the system of Indian Railway PNR checking option, I got eh information of my seat being a confirmed one.

Booking rooms at Hotel Ganga Azure
I was asked to find a cheap but safe hotel in Delhi since I have been there before. I had stayed in hotel Ganga Azure previously and was happy with their service. Therefore, I checked online for any availability of rooms. To my luck, there were available rooms and I booked them immediately. The rooms were clean and well kept. The food, which was served was fresh and healthy. They even arranged the car for us to travel to Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary.

The wonderful experience at the Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary
The Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary is located at the southern edge of Delhi, which is connected to the Aravalli Mountain ranged. Some of it is even in Rajasthan. Since most of the forest area was getting destroyed Government declared it to be a Sanctuary. There are some self-proclaimed villages inside and we camped there. I captured the black-naped hare after waiting for 2 hours in the morning. We also got to see jungle cats, deer, porcupine, and jackals. We had no luck with spotting any leopard.

My job was keeping me busy all the time and I missed all the fun that I used to have. Most of my friends were going on a trip to different places and I really felt sad about it. Luckily, I also got a chance to go on a trip and I was very happy about it. When it came to choosing the place, I opted for Port Blair as it is one of the beautiful places to spend a rejuvenating holiday. I told about this decision to my friends and they also agreed with it.
Booking of tickets for the trip was a bit hectic for me as I had never booked air tickets before. After surfing for a while, I came across a lucrative deal from Indigo Airlines. The air carrier provided Kolkata to Port Blair airfare at a discounted rate. One of the best things about Indigo airlines is the service they offer. The customer service professionals provided instant help when one of my friends faced an issue. So everything was set for the journey and we were all awaiting eagerly.
